Open Evening Wednesday 22nd September

We would like to invite parents/carers of prospective Year 7 students to our Open Evening which will take place on Wednesday 22nd September, 6pm-8pm with Headteacher's talks at 6 and 7pm.

Hear from our Year 7 students... 

Tegan and Shri talk about how they have settled in at WKGS so far - Making new friends, lessons, favourite subjects, being Form Captain/Deputy Form Captain and how they get to school in the mornings. They also talk about who is there to help at WKGS if you have any problems

Ananya talks about coming from a small primary school and being the only person who went to WKGS. She also explains how getting a school bus home to North Wales at the end of the day works. 

Ellie talks about settling in to WKGS, making new friends and about her experience of the 11+ assessment day. She also tells us about some of the lunchtime activities available. 

Abi, Maria and Alex discuss sports clubs they take part in, how much homework they get in Year 7, favourite subjects and being the only one coming from their primary school. 

Maia and Zoe discuss the range of food and snack options available in the school Dining Room, including the wide variety of cookies. 

Matilda, Ainara and Maia talk about their experiences on the 11+ assessment day. 

Matilda, Ainara, Zoe, Maia and Saranya discuss settling in, where you can go at lunchtime and who to ask if you need help/support with anything in Year 7.
