Reporting Student Absence (Illness)

If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, please leave a message on our answerphone by phoning 0151 632 3449 and selecting Option 2. Alternatively, email: [email protected]

Leave of Absence and Medical Appointments

Please use this email to request a Leave of Absence or to notify us of medical appointments, including any relevant supporting evidence: [email protected]

Please note students are not permitted to leave school unaccompanied and must be collected by a parent/carer.

If a Student Becomes Unwell in School

Students should report to Reception if they feel unwell during the school day. A parent/carer will be contacted if necessary.

Medication in School

To support the safe administration of medication during the school day, parents/carers are asked to complete the relevant form:

· School Stored Medication Permission Form

· Permission to Carry own Medication

These forms allow school either to store medication for supervised access or to permit students to carry simple medications (e.g. hay fever tablets, cold and flu remedies, painkillers).

Lost Property

Lost property is located by the stairs in the H Block. We endeavour to return all named items to students. Please ensure belongings are clearly labelled.

Lockers

We use an independent provider, ILS, for student lockers. Lockers must be booked directly via www.ilsschools.co.uk. Bookings open in July for the following academic year. For faulty lockers or replacement keys please contact: [email protected]
