If you have an interest in design and manufacturing, enjoy designing and making products and like learning about new and emerging technologies, then this is the course for you. You should enjoy working independently or as part of a team to develop design ideas, and have an enquiring mind to help you experiment and manipulate materials in the workshop or CAD CAM suite. This course includes external visits to local manufacturing businesses, university enrichment opportunities and a design tour. |
