Admissions After the Start of Year 7
To apply for assessment in Years 7 - 11 please complete an ‘In Year Transfer for Secondary aged children’ form from Wirral Borough Council. Please contact the school for information regarding the assessment process.
In all instances, applications are to be made online at Apply for a transfer to a Wirral primary or secondary school or complete an ‘In Year Transfer for Secondary aged children’ form and e-mail to: schooladmissions@wirral.gov.uk The application will then be forwarded to ourselves.
To assist us with tracking the applications it would be helpful if parents/carers can complete our online form so that we can track the applications with the Local Authority.
In-Year Assessment Days 2024/25
- Wednesday 9th October 2024 (Deadline to apply Friday 27th September 2024) Start Date Monday 4th November 2024
- Wednesday 27th November 2024 (Deadline to apply Friday 15th November 2024) Start Date Monday 6th January 2025
- Wednesday 12th March 2025 (Deadline to apply Friday 28th February 2025) Start Date Tuesday 22nd April 2025
- Wednesday 25th June 2025 (Deadline to apply Friday 13th June 2025) Start Date September 2025
After we have received your application we will contact parents/carers to confirm the time and arrangements for the assessment. Generally the assessment takes place between 9am and 12pm on the selected dates.
Assessments papers are National Curriculum based in both Mathematics and English and a verbal reasoning paper.
