French is widely-spoken around the world and there is no substitute for the ability to converse with people in their own language. Careers in business, politics, education, travel, fashion and media are all enhanced by the ability to speak a second language. Increasingly, science, technology and medical courses are recognising and valuing the diversity of skills and aptitude for learning demonstrated by A-level linguists. |
