Hear from our Sixth Form Students...

New Year 12 students Rebekah, Alexandra, Brooke, Ellie and Kyla talk about why they chose to come to our Sixth Form. They discuss their first half term term, the induction process, how Sixth Form is different to lower school, dress code, settling in to a new form and their experience of the Enrichment Programme.

Sam and Scarlett are Year 12 students who have joined us from other secondary schools. They talk about why they chose to come to WKGS for Sixth Form, the experience they have had so far and how they have settled in. 

Sinead and Rohan are Year 13 students. They discuss the structure of the school day, support offered from teaching staff, the Enrichment Programme, the pastoral support and the careers advice services we provide. 

Niamh and Ella talk about transition from Year 11 to WKGS Sixth Form, the support provided for them in the university application process and how they get to and from Sixth Form every day. 

Tom joined us from another secondary school and Sasha moved from WKGS lower school to Sixth Form. They both tell us why they chose WKGS Sixth Form discussing teaching styles, atmopshere at the school and the range of subjects on offer. 

Year 13 students Ella and Molly discuss the the range of subjects offered at WKGS, the unique opportunities and the extra-curricular activities on offer. 

Varshita and Rawnak discuss the supportive environment, freedom and independance while studying at WKGS Sixth Form.

Our Head Girl (Katie) and Head Boy (Robert) introduce themselves and the Head Prefect Team. They all talk about their roles and how they support students at WKGS Sixth Form. 

Former Head Boy, Jakub left WKGS Sixth Form in 2020 having studied A-Level Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths, AS-Level Physics and an Extended Project Qualification. He achieved 3 A* grades and an A grade at A-Level and an A grade for AS Physics. Jakub is currently studying for a degree in Computer Science at Leeds University and discusses his time at WKGS and how it has prepared him for his university studies. 

Former Head Girl, Gabriella left WKGS Sixth Form in 2020 having studied A-Level English Literature, Maths, Biology and an Extended Project Qualification. She achieved three A grades and a grade B for her A-Levels and is currently taking a gap year. Gabriella is working as a Social Media Assistant at a recruitment company and will take up her place at Leeds University to study Business Management. She talks about the range of opportunities and variety of subjects available at WKGS Sixth Form.
