Owing to their exceptional attitudes and dedication, students at West Kirby Grammar School have once again achieved remarkable levels of success in their Advanced Level examinations. Students have been celebrating outstanding results across the board leading them onto courses at top universities and other exciting opportunities.

  • 100% of students gained 3 or more qualifications
  • 9% of the grades were A* and 32% were A* - A
  • 82% of the grades awarded were A* - C
  • The average grade achieved was a grade B
  • Pupils achieved a points average of 38.36, exceeding the national average.

29 students achieved straight A*/A grades in all 3, 4 or 5 of their subjects studied and the entire school community is most proud of what our students in Year 13 have been able to achieve. We are delighted that their hard work and commitment is reflected in the results and personal achievements of our students.

Value Added data is not available in 2023 owing to the 2021 GCSE grades being awarded by centres and not awarding organistions.

Students’ destinations are diverse and exciting. Their exceptional results now see them move onto universities including Oxbridge and Russell Group universities as well as accessing some of the most competitive apprenticeships in the country and we wish all of our students the very best in their future endeavours.
